This Street Photography series looks at the factory-like honeymoon tourism in Honolulu’s beachfront neighbourhood. Waikiki is a popular place for lovebirds wearing matching clothing as well as for couples in wedding dresses who run around in tuxedos to do their pre wedding photo shoot.
I was fascinated that a beautiful trend has become a cliché in Waikiki and I’ve decided to create this photo project called “Honeymoon Factory Waikiki”. For me, this was the first time shooting a themed series of photos with a project in mind, rather than randomly snapping on the streets.
